RIW General Information
About the Event

From November 1 to November 3, 2017, the Moscow Expocenter will host Russian Internet Week 2017 (2017 RIW) — Runet’s most important fall event.

According to the Organizing Committee's estimates, this year RIW will be one of Runet’s most public and interesting events.

The 10th RIW will encapsulate a large-scale conference program, including exhibitions displaying achievements from the IT industry, as well as optional fun activities.

Russian Internet Week — is a very important and significant event for the entire Internet-industry. Because RIW reflects the synergism of its participants, partners, and the entire industry, this is where the most edgy reports can be heard, and the most important round-table conferences are held.

Key topics of RIW 2017: Digital economy, Electronic commerce, Russia’s Mobile economy, RTB, Modern Advertising Methods, Web analytics, Marketing, PR, and many others.

Registration and Payment

You can register at RIW by clicking on this link. After online registration you will be assigned the status of a Virtual Participant.

If you would like to participate in RIW in person (with the status Participant or Business Participant), you will need to pay the registration fee.

Only registered participants will be allowed access to the site of Russian Internet Week 2017. You can also pay the registration fee on-site upon arrival, but we strongly recommend making an advance payment online (this is more convenient for participants as it will reduce the time required to wait for a participant badge).

Advance payment of the registration fee can be made in the participant’s Personal Account.

An invoice for participation in RIW 2017 can be billed to both private individuals and corporate bodies. The payment option in your Personal Account allows you to pay your own registration fee along with the registration fee of an unlimited number of your colleagues / partners / friends.

RIW 2017 Participant Information
Highlights of the Year

Conference events will be taking place for 3 days in 10 parallel tracks. All together, 100 panels are planned.

Two thirds of the Conference program is based on requests from conference participants. Each party may propose its own panel topic or report (registered participants choose the most interesting topic, which will become part of the program of events). A third of the panels are formed by the Program Committee.

The Exhibition will take place during the entire 3 days of RIW 2017.

In addition to the Program and Exhibition, other interesting events will be taking place as part of Program+, whose organisers are RIW 2017 partners and IT market players.

Online registration for Forum participants is open beginning January 2017 through the starting date of RIW 2017. New in 2017: the status of business participation has been introduced to RIW for the first time.

The main focus of RIW 2017 is the DIGITAL ECONOMY and the impact of Internet economy on offline industry, governance processes, business processes, and society. Furthermore, an essential innovation of 2017 is our new program slot formation system, which is based on HUBS of the digital economy.

Another exclusive topic of 2017 is the all-encompasing study of the phenomenon of the Mobile Economy of Russia 2017 – This is a study of the main segments of Russia’s Mobile Economy, its scale and trends, as well as its impact on Runet’s economy (Digital Economy) and Russia’s offline economy.

RIW 2017 Program
General Program

RIW 2017 — is a multistream conference in which more than 600 speakers will take part.

Because Russian Internet Week encapsulates the synergism of its participants, partners, and experts from всей отрасли — this is where the most edgy reports can be heard, and the most important round-table conferences are held (more than 100 events in the Forum’s 3 days in 10 parallel halls).

The general program is the responsibility of the Program committee. It consists of panels, round tables, panel discussions related to one of the HUBS of the digital economy.

In terms of forming the Program, every registered participant can submit an application to become a Speaker on one of the panels.

Russian Internet Week is not only a Conference and Exhibition, it is also a myriad of interesting and useful events and special projects by the organizers and partners.

Contests, sweepstakes, quests, parties, and useful promotional activities from our partners all take place during RIW, and they are all united under the platform PROGRAM+

Exhibition

The large-scale exhibition Internet EXPO will take place during Russian Internet Week 2017. Russian IT companies as well as companies from other countries will present their products and achievements at Internet EXPO.

More than 80 Russian and foreign companies will take part in the Exhibition.

A charging station, recreation area, Media Center are also available onsite.

Russian Internet Week 2017 will be held in the Expoсentre in Pavilion 1.

About Expocentre

The Central Exhibition Complex Expocentre (CEC Expocentre) is located at the very heart of the capital city, near the business district Moscow City, the city's major roads and hotels, and within the walking distance from the Metro station. This is an undeniable advantage over other exhibition complexes in Moscow and the Moscow Region, because it gives its visitors, exhibitors, and business partners the opportunity to get there quickly and manage their time.

Expocentre is situated just a step away from buildings of the Russian Government, various Ministries and State Departments, Moscow City Government, and the World Trade Centre.

Exhibitors and exhibition visitors from other cities and countries can stay in nearby hotels: Crowne Plaza in the World Trade Center, the Novotel, the Red Inn Hotel on Krasnaya Presnya, Moscow Apartments WTC, Imperia City, the Apartment Complex MosApart, etc.

Transportation

The Expocentre has three entrances: North Entrance, South Entrance, West Entrance. Therefore, it is possible to access the Expocentre from Krasnopresnenskaya naberezhnaya, Tretye transportnoye koltso and 1 Krasnogvardeyskiy proezd.

It is convenient to arrive to the Expocentre by Metro. Two stations, Vystavochnaya and Delovoy Tsentr.

Paid parking is available at any city parking lot or on the underground parking garage of the Afimall SEC.

On-site Registration

When arriving to Russian Internet Week 2017, participants need to proceed to the registration counters and get an ID Badge issued by registration personnel by presenting their e-ticket. The RIW 2017 participant’s badge cannot be transferred to third parties. The participant’s badge must have the holder’s photo.

Forum Communications Services

The RIW 2017 Organizing Committee is available to participants 24/7. RIW 2017 offers its participants several convenient ways of communicating both with each other and with the Forum organizers.

Telegram Bot - is a long-loved helper-navigator-conversationalist from the Runet-ID calendar. The Bot knows exactly where this or that hall is, and it is also familiar with the Forum program.

My Personal Account

The participant’s Personal Account has many functions, from payment to Forum materials.

In Personal Account, you can:

  • pay registration fee
  • pay your colleagues’ participation fee
  • change your profile information (photo, employment)

All handouts from RIW 2017 partners and exhibitors are given to representatives of the Organizing Committee in electronic form and will be available in Personal Accounts for participants who visited your booth, thanks to PaperLess.

Information for Members of the Media

Members of the media need accreditation to participate in RIW.

Send your accreditation application via email: pr@russianinternetweek.ru, state your place of employment, job title, and RUNET-ID. It is important to register with RIW 2017 online and become a Virtual Participant.

Accredited members of the media are not required to pay the registration fee. The Russian Internet Week 2017 Media Office makes decisions on accreditation.

Upon confirmed accreditation, the status of Virtual RIW 2017 Participant will be automatically replaced with Member of the Media (RIW 2017).

Information for Forum Speakers

When organizing the event, the Organizer/Chair proposes candidates to be Speakers, or chooses them from self-nominated candidates. Please note, some Speakers may be proposed by the Program Committee, including those self-nominated candidates who sent a request via an online-form.

The Organizer contacts Speakers directly or through Program Committee Coordinators (the Organizing Committee can provide the Organizer with the Speaker’s contact information), and agrees on the topic of their presentation.

Each Speaker must register with RIW first, and should provide their RUNET-ID identification code when communicating with Program Committee members and coordinators

An approved speaker is automatically assigned the status of conference participant. The speaker has to be registered with RUNET-ID. After the speaker is published in the Conference program, their status in the RUNET-ID form changes.

The speaker has the same options as a Paying Participant.
